PRODUCT INFORMATION

- Descaling tablets are used for Miele kitchen appliances such as coffee makers, steamers, ovens... to maintain and remove limescale to reduce toxicity and prolong the life of the equipment.

- Quantity: 6 tablets

- Your Miele coffee machine needs to be descaled regularly to remove harmful residues. Only then will the coffee machine work perfectly. In particular, Miele coffee machines have a special test function.

Please follow the instructions on the packaging of the descaling tablets. Otherwise, it may damage the Miele coffee machine. After descaling, clean the water tank and the carafe thoroughly so that there is no residue of descaling agent left in the machine.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. When the message to add descaling agent to the water tank appears, remove the water tank from the machine and fill it with warm water up to the level marked. Never add less water to the water tank otherwise the descaling program will be cancelled prematurely.

2. Then add 1 or 2 Miele descaling tablets to the water. Let them dissolve completely before you close the water tank and put it back in the coffee maker.

3. The coffee grounds container can be used as a collection container. Take out the coffee grounds container and place it under the nozzle and steam valve.

4. Remove the capsule and place the descaling funnel. Open the door and remove the capsule completely.

5. Replace it with a color descaling funnel.

6. Open the valve by pushing the slide switch down until it clicks into place.

7. It takes at least 5 minutes before the descaling programme starts. During this time, the Miele descaling tablet dissolves in the water. If it takes longer to start, the coffee machine will still be too hot. The display will tell you how long the process will take.

8. When the message to add clean water to the tank is displayed, be sure to thoroughly rinse the water tank with clean water (no residue or descaling agent left behind!), then fill it with clean tap water to the marked level.
